Prayer For Sleep: Deliverance From Every Anxious Thought And Worry That Keeps Me Awake At Night

Heavenly Father, I come before Your glorious presence in the name of Yeshua. I acknowledge Your sovereignty and Your ability to grant peaceful rest to my weary body and mind. I pray that through this prayer, You will be glorified, and Your name exalted.

I am grateful for the shield of Yeshua's blood, which was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins. I plead the blood of Yeshua over my life, covering every anxious thought and worry that keeps me awake at night. Your Word assures me in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety." Father, I come before You, surrendering my sleeplessness and asking for Your divine rest and peace to fill my entire being.

In Your Word, the Tanakh, I find comfort and solace in times of restlessness. Psalm 121:4 declares, "Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Father, I take comfort in knowing that You are always awake and watching over me. Help me to trust in Your faithfulness and to find rest in the assurance of Your constant care and protection.

I seek Your guidance, Father, and I pray for discernment to identify the sources of my sleeplessness. Your Word assures me in Proverbs 3:24, "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet." Father, I surrender my fears and worries to You, knowing that as I trust in You, You will grant me sweet and rejuvenating sleep. Help me to cast all my cares upon You, for You care for me.

I pray for the fire of Your Spirit to consume and calm my restless spirit. In Isaiah 43:2, it is written, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." Father, I ask that Your fire would burn away every anxiety and fear that hinders my ability to fall asleep. Let Your presence be my refuge and my peace, guiding me into a deep and uninterrupted sleep.

Above all, Father, I desire for Your name to be glorified through Jesus, Yeshua, my Savior. In Matthew 5:16, Yeshua said, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Father, I pray that as You help me fall asleep, Your name will be glorified. May the peace and rest I experience in Your presence be a testimony to Your faithfulness and love.

In the mighty and powerful name of Yeshua, my Savior and Redeemer, I conclude this prayer. I surrender my sleeplessness to You, knowing that You have the power to grant me peaceful rest. I thank You, Father, for Your love, Your mercy, and Your desire to help me fall asleep. In Yeshua's name, I pray. Amen.
